Rev. Pat Ballard, Acting Interim Pastor
Rev. Patrica Ballard is an ordained minister of Religious Science International. her spiritual search began in the early 60's and she found RSI in 1970. Rev. Pat became the pastor of the South Sacramento Church of Religious Science in 1981 and retired in 1993.
For ten years she lived in an RV, gypsying around the Southwest drinking in such high energy spots as Sedona, AZ and Taos, NM. During this time she discovered a love for art. Her modest studio is named Late Bloom Studio where she creates mainly colored pencil and pen and ink drawings. She is also studying spanish and loveingly struggles with learning to play the piano.
Today she has stepped into the role of Acting Interim Pastor of the Oroville Church of Religious Science, enjoying tremendously this rewarding challenge. Rev. Pat plans to serve in this capacity until the Pastor's position has been permanently filled.
Rev. Lorri Lee Dilley
Rev. Lorri Lee Dilley began her love affair with Religious Science in 1961. She took five years of accredited classwork with the United Church of Religious Science, and for the next seven years studied under Dr. Barnum in Canoga Park, CA. She became a Licensed Practitioner and graduated from Ministerial Training in 1973.
Rev. Lorri became the Founding Pastor of the Sacramento Church of Religious Science, from which she retired after twelve years of service, having graduated numerous students from her accredited classes, as well as nine ministerial students, three of which went on to their own ministries. She describes this time as a very exciting period in her life.
Today Rev. Lorri is active in the Oroville Church of Religious Science, and still has time to fit in fun with her husband John and their combined countless great-great-great granchildren, raising delicious fruits and vegetables, traveling, and more. To quote her: "I am one very happy lady. Life is good!"
